Raise the standard of local hospitality
Sri Lanka is full of beautiful properties that never reach their potential. Rooms sit empty while travellers default to a handful of well-marketed hotels. Meanwhile small restaurants, drivers and guides have no reliable way to reach guests.
Kandyam closes that gap. We inspect, improve and manage local properties, then connect them to a single platform where travellers can book stays, food, transport and experiences together — and partners earn more from the rooms they already have.
The opportunity
The Kandy–Kegalle corridor
Millions of travellers pass through Kandy each year — the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake, the cultural triangle and the train line to Ella. The Kegalle corridor adds waterfalls, spice gardens, elephant encounters and the route west to Colombo.
Yet occupancy and quality are uneven. Many properties are under-priced, poorly photographed and invisible online. That is both the problem and the opportunity: improve the product, market it properly, and demand follows.
